Terms
Terms of use
The agreement between you and Ryzek when you use the scanner and this website.
Last updated 15 September 2026
1. The service
Ryzek scans files you provide — such as agent skills, MCP configuration and tool manifests — and reports potential security issues. By creating an account or using the scanner, you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the scanner. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
3. What you upload
Only upload files you're allowed to share with us for scanning. Avoid uploading live credentials where you can — if a file contains one, treat it as exposed and rotate it regardless of what Ryzek reports. We process uploads as described in the privacy policy and don't keep their contents.
4. Acceptable use
Don't:
- try to get around plan limits, rate limits or access controls;
- scan automatically or repeatedly just to move up the leaderboard;
- interfere with or overload the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside our security reporting process;
- use the service to build a competing product, or copy its rules or output at scale for that purpose;
- use it for anything unlawful.
5. Results are guidance, not a guarantee
Ryzek uses automated rules. A finding is a signal to review, and a result with no findings means none of the rules matched — not that the files are safe. You're responsible for decisions you make based on the results.
6. Plans and changes
The free plan includes a monthly scan allowance, which may change with notice. Paid plans aren't on sale yet; when they are, their price and terms will be shown before you buy. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Scan packs are one-off purchases on the free plan. A pack's scans are used after your monthly allowance runs out, and last 12 months from purchase. Because the scans are available as soon as you pay, packs are non-refundable if you change your mind. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or other consumer laws that can't be excluded, if the service doesn't work as it should.
7. The leaderboard and write-ups
Joining the leaderboard is optional. A display name mustn't impersonate anyone, mislead, advertise or offend. We may remove a name, or take an account off the board, if it breaks these terms — including if its scans look automated or repeated just to climb the board.
If you send a spotlight write-up, you confirm that you're allowed to share what's in it, and that it contains no secrets, no personal information about other people, no private code, and no details of problems in someone else's project that haven't been fixed. You give Ryzek a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish it on ryzek.dev under your display name — including in translated versions of the site — and to shorten it or edit it for clarity or safety. We decide whether to publish a write-up, and we'll remove a published one if you ask.
Leaderboard rewards. Entry is free and needs no purchase: a paid plan gives more scans, but only your 20 best-scoring scans each month count, and places are decided by points for what your scans find, not by chance. If you're listed in the top 5 of the global board or a regional board when a month ends, you can receive 7 days of the Pro plan free, or 30 days if you also placed in the previous month. Each account can receive at most one 7-day and one 30-day reward per calendar quarter, and needs a verified email address. Enterprise accounts aren't eligible. We review every reward before granting it and may withhold it, or remove an account from the boards, if scans look automated, farmed with files written to trip rules, or placed in a region by a proxy on purpose. After a reward ends, we may offer your first month of Pro at a discount; it's optional, and a paid plan renews at the normal price until you cancel. Rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred. We may change or end rewards for months that haven't started yet.
8. Our software
Ryzek's software, rules and website content belong to Ryzek. The software is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1, which does not permit commercial resale or offering it as a competing hosted service.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and Ryzek isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by relying on scan results. Where our liability can be limited, it's limited to resupplying the service or the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Ryzek and delete your data at any time from your account page. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
