How scans are counted
One upload is one scan.
However many files you add — a single config or a folder of forty skills — one press of Scan is one scan. If an upload contains nothing Ryzek can scan, it doesn't count. Allowances reset on the first of each month, UTC.

Before you choose.
Why give every rule away on the free plan?
Because a scan that says clean has to mean clean. If a critical rule only ran for paying customers, a free result would be misleading in exactly the case that matters. Paid plans are for scanning more, and for automation once it ships.
What happens when I reach my limit?
The scanner tells you, and new scans wait until your allowance resets on the first of the month. Nothing you've set up is lost.
Do you keep the files I scan?
No, on any plan. Files are scanned in memory and discarded. We keep scan counts and tool fingerprints (hashes and permission labels) for drift detection. The privacy policy has the detail.
Do you have SOC 2?
Not yet. It's a real audit with a months-long observation window, and we won't claim it before we have it. If your procurement requires it today, tell us.
Is there a discount for open-source maintainers?
We intend to offer Pro at no cost to maintainers of public projects once paid plans open. Get in touch with a link to your project and we'll let you know when it's available.
